What Happens at the Rapture Part 1

Once again I caution everyone to prepare for the upcoming prophetic events. The best way to prepare yourself for the now prophecies is to be part of the Rapture. You won’t be here. If you are Left Behind–a good book series that does a good job of describing the Seven Years–you need to know what to expect.

The earth’s current population is 7.8 billion souls.
The current number of Christians is 2.2 billion souls.

These numbers are, of course, estimates and the Revelation letters to the seven churches calls into doubt the true number of Christians. One end time church has nothing good said about it. One end time church has nothing bad said about it.

On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.” Revelation 1:10,11

The Lord’s Day is the seventh day of the week or Shabbat aka Saturday as defined in Genesis 2. Sunday is the first day of the week and the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead. The latter is an entire message in itself.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Genesis 2:2

Trivia: In Israel there exist hotels that have a specific elevator set to stop at every floor going up or down. This because to a strict Jew even pushing an elevator button is work and a violation of the law.

The Antichrist will attempt to change the calendar making Monday the first day and Sunday the seventh day of the week as has been done in Europe.

He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. Daniel 7:25

God admonishes us not to change the days of the week or landmarks set out by God.  Remember that we often use landmark to emphasis a date.

Do not move your neighbor’s boundary stone set up by your predecessors in the inheritance you receive in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess.  Deuteronomy 19:14.

Back to John and the letters.  These seven churches were set in a particular order.  The mail route would encounter these cities in this order in a circle route.  The churches match the historical church age and describe how the churches would behave in the correct historical order.  It is a history of the church written in advance. We are in the age of the last three churches.  It is worth reading Revelation 2 and 3 to help understand the Rapture.  Notice that God through Christ tells the Church in Philadelphia that:

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.  Revelation 3:10.

The point of this is that there is probably a smaller number of Christ accepting Christians than the number of people that identify as Christian.  Since the Church of Philadelphia is the only church God promises to Rapture the number could be as low as 200,000,000.  It is a scary low number, but .  It is a scary low number, but understand that there are churches today that never open the Bible or teach errant doctrine.  It will only be those that are forgiven through the Blood of Christ that are Raptured BEFORE the Seven Years begin.

Don’t be one of the remainder of the world.

Just sayin.
