What happens when the true Christians and children are removed? It will be chaos to begin with.
The Rapture will occur at the same instant around the entire world.
First, the dead in Christ will rise. Imagine being in a cemetery at that moment. Bodies would be shooting out of the ground like fireworks on the Fourth of July.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17
2.2 billion or more Christians out of 7.8 billion vanish from the face of the earth. The actual number can be disputed, but for this we will accept it as close enough. Remember that children below the age of understanding all the way down to the instant of conception are guaranteed to be in the Rapture. This means the number taken up will be considerably larger than 2.2 billion.
Doing the math I am rounding it down to 25%. If the numbers are evenly distributed that means one out four:
Truck drivers will be without drivers, aircraft will be without pilots, buses without drivers. Ships, trains, surgeries, firemen, police, run down the list of critical positions and it is plain that the world is in trouble. Farmers, ranchers, hunters, food producers of all types, will be gone. Managers, executives, and business owners are missing. Thousands of smaller vehicles of all types are out of control on highways, waterways and in the air. The western world military will be hard hit as 25% of the service personnel will be gone. The immediate effect will be vehicle crashes, plane crashes, trains stopping because of dead man switches or not stopping if the dead man switches fail, failed surgeries, power outages, the list goes on. 2.2 billion people will vanish in the twinkling on an eye. 5.6 billion are left behind, none of them will be Christians. The restrainer will be taken away.
Families will be missing their children all over the world. All children are taken up to Heaven. Many will commit suicide.
The countries most affected will be Christian based countries. The other countries such as China, North Korea, Muslim countries, etc. will be less impacted.
I will make a distinction that may offend, but if we assume that Christians do follow the words of Christ and the Bible then they will be following the command:
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:28
Note “be fruitful” is first–meaning get off your butt and get a job. Increase is second—which means don’t have your kids until you get married AND can provide for them. If only we all in and of the world did that…. I digress.
This should tell us that there will be a larger proportion of workers (aka taxpayers aka producers, serve in the military) taken than those that do not work (pay taxes, produce goods and services, serve in the military.) Is that politically incorrect? Probably, but I am talking about you–yes, you–being in agreement with God and if you aren’t by the time of the Rapture then you best prepare yourself for what’s coming soon.
The next effect will be paralysis caused by the missing emergency response people, crisis managers, medical staff, and other people that have the training to deal with the large scale catastrophes that will occur when critical people are taken up. Roads will be blocked all over the world; airplanes will be grounded if they can land at all; ambulances, fire vehicles, rescue vehicles will be unable to move. Medical staff left behind will be overwhelmed.
The next effect will occur as the emergency services begin to cope with the chaos. Those with evil in their hearts will take advantage of the chaos and missing police forces. This will occur at the individual (see the riots in left-wing cities today), government (never let a good crisis go to waste- Rahm Emanuel, adviser to Obama), and international level. This will be a golden opportunity for the Antichrist or international bad actors to make a move.
Another effect will be on food supplies. What good are crops, livestock, and so on if there is no one to harvest them? Or transport them? City dwellers by and large do not know how to farm and a large portion of farmers, etc. will be missing. Expect food shortages in the cities within a few weeks or months.
There will be a huge population loss because of those taken up in the Rapture, the immediate death toll following the Rapture, the subsequent death toll after that, then a large death toll from crime, war, disease, and famine. In short, expect a heavy death toll of the 5.6 billion left behind from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse–approximately 1.4 billion souls not going to heaven from the Chloros or Pale rider alone.
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:8.
It is more than possible that the earth will see its population reduced to less than 4.2 billion souls.
Is anyone feeling good about this? If you are happy about the people in the Rapture then you should feel great. If you are feeling sick over 1.4 billion souls going to Hades immediately after the Rapture then you need to put it into perspective. Remember that God sees us as bags of dirt containing our souls. He has given everyone the opportunity to accept Him including the most isolated primitive. The tears in Heaven part is from the people in Heaven realizing they failed to tell their loved one about Christ.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20
Also remember that everyone on earth was intimately familiar with God after the flood. We all descend from Noah and his sons. This means that the people of the earth CHOSE to follow Mystery Babylon founded by Nimrod. Those primitives mentioned earlier probably worship some god or another. Paul is right. There is no excuse. I, personally, feel sorrow that they are doomed, but every human was given the freedom to choose starting with Adam and Eve.
